Resident Summer Party with Sofar Sounds

This summer we hosted our Resident Summer Party, a magical event that marked the grand finale to summer in September 2023. This soirée unfolded in the heart of Canada Gardens, amongst the backdrop of trees, flowers and fairy lights. The enchanting evening featured the renowned Sofar Sounds, with live performances from two of their talented artists.

Four pop-up bars served complimentary drinks, while Urban Food Fest, who run the food markets of East London, provided four fantastic street food caterers. We boasted a diverse spread, including Turkish delicacies, Greek specialties, gourmet burgers and sizzling steak and chips. A resident perfectly captured the evening, stating:

"What's not to love about free food and free drinks?! And the atmosphere was amazing too."

Halloween Pet Parade

In the spirit of Halloween, Quintain Living hosted its own rendition of other famed pet parades, drawing inspiration from the iconic New York tradition. October saw Canada Gardens transform into a whimsical haven for our residents' furry friends, with 43 dogs (and even a few daring cats) strutting their spooky stuff. There was also a judging panel to see who was the best dressed.

Curated in collaboration with our pet partner Cuddle Club, the event went beyond the parade, offering pop-up activities like doggie yoga and pedicures. Over 100 guests joined the spirited celebration, revelling in the creativity of the pet costumes - as well as the free brunch and prosecco.

"I haven't known other developments to do these [types of events], and they're a good way to meet people."

Our partnership with Cuddle Club also includes exclusive discounts for Quintain Living residents on all services, including dog walking and in-apartment dog sitting - and since our apartments are all pet-friendly, we have a feeling you might need them!

Quintain Living continues to redefine community living, fostering connections and creating memorable experiences - even for our four-legged friends.

We prioritise the holistic wellbeing of our residents through an invigorating partnership with Antidote, our health and wellbeing provider. We also host larger monthly events as well, such as sunset yoga, sound healing and goal-setting workshops if you fancy something a little different.

We listened to our residents' feedback in our last survey, and created more events focused on food and drink - did you know that 65% of you said that was your greatest interest?

A standout was our Summer BBQ, held in July at Canada Gardens and featuring dishes from Ipanema Barbecue. This tasty gathering was a relaxed way to meet new people and unwind after a busy week. The event saw us enlist some of our favourite vendors from Wembley BOXPARK,, with delicious complimentary food and the freedom for residents to BYOB.

"All the events are fully managed and properly executed. We get to know new people and make new friends.

FYI, Quintain residents receive an exclusive black card with personalised offers and promotions for BOXPARK - so don’t miss out on the opportunity to grab yourself one

You can cook along in real time, creating delicious treats whilst having a natter.

"They [the events] are always super fun to attend…[They] bring…residents together and give…a real sense of community.

International Dance Day

In a rhythmic celebration of movement and community, Quintain Living marked International Dance Day with an extraordinary event on the Alameda rooftop in April. The intimate gathering took dance enthusiasts on a journey guided by none other than Oti Mabuse from Strictly Come Dancing. Oti offered an exclusive dance class where residents were immersed in the sultry steps of the rumba.

Under the open sky, against the backdrop of Wembley Park, the Alameda rooftop became a dance floor. Oti's expertise brought both novices and seasoned dancers together in harmony, creating not just moves but lasting memories.

At Quintain Living, community is not just a concept - it's a living, breathing reality shaped by the vibrant threads of our resident events.
