Explore Madison, Our Mad Men-Inspired Apartment

16 May 2022 Alex

London is known all over the globe as one of the world’s most diverse, cosmopolitan cities, with a distinctive architectural look and feel in each zone, borough, area and even street.

At Quintain Living, we’re big fans of that diversity, and we aim to bring it to each and every one of our gorgeous Wembley Park apartments. We pick up design inspiration wherever we can find it, from the natural stylings of Montana and Dakota to the chic and modern Alto

Let us introduce you to our mid-century-inspired Madison building, where we draw on the themes of one of the twenty-first century’s very best TV shows so far, Mad Men. Read on to learn more…

The set up

Both our Madison apartment buildings, Madison East and Madison West, come with an excellent array of facilities, including:

  • A resident team and 24-hour concierge
  • Spaces for socialising and working from home
  • Utilities, including free 60mbps WiFi

Residents of Madison East get to enjoy the following features:

  • 12 floors of residential apartments, including studios and one-, two- and three-beds
  • Views of the stadium, podium or park

Madison West, meanwhile, is home to:

  • Views across the stadium, podium or Olympic steps
  • 15 floors of residential apartments, including studios and one- and two-beds
  • The concierge and residents’ lounge

On top of this, the apartments are well located for transport, with journeys into the centre of the city taking just 12 minutes.

Mid-century inspired New York City style

Madison takes its name from Madison Avenue, New York City’s iconic advertising district. And, as anyone who watched Mad Men will be able to tell you, Madison Avenue absolutely oozes style, mid-century chic and sophistication.

Much like other period hits such as Peaky Blinders, the show spawned an industry of emulators and tributes, inspiring everything from fashion to cocktails

Here at Quintain Living, we couldn’t resist the appeal of old-school New York cool, and drew heavily on it for our interior design inspiration.

Inspired interiors from the Mad Men era

With beautiful coffee tables and wood panelled walls, Madison’s interiors truly make you feel like you’re living in one of Mad Men’s effortlessly cool spaces.

And the view from the windows conjures New York City skyscrapers, too: just as Madison Avenue’s ad agencies gazed out over New York City’s famous Central Park, our Madison residents get a view of the leafy and verdant Union Park.

It’s important to make your home your own, of course - but it’s all the better if the space you’re working with is already classy and sophisticated in its own right.

Communal spaces with style

There’s a lot to keep in mind when looking for a place to live in London, and access to good communal spaces is one of the most important things to look out for. Of course, it helps if those spaces are not just accessible and welcoming, but well-designed and inspiring, too.

It’s nice to have a pleasant space to work from home or relax in, after all. But it’s something else entirely when that space makes you feel like you’re taking a martini lunch with Don Draper.

At Madison, you’ll gain access to:

  • A residents’ lounge with a TV room and pool table, as well as a banquet table and kitchen
  • ‘The View’, found on the 13th floor of Madison East and offers unparalleled views over the stadium and Wembley Park
  • The Geometric Garden with play area, barbecue and seating
  • Dedicated underground residents’ parking

All this offers you the perfect chance to get to know your new neighbours, as well as to relax and unwind in the pleasure of your own company - and imagine yourself as a part of the Mad Men era.

If London living amid the clean lines and mid-century modern stylings of Mad Men’s New York sounds good to you, why not take a look at all our apartment buildings have to offer or contact us for more information?
