Grocery Shopping in Wembley Park: Every Supermarket and Store on Your Doorstep

05 Aug 2026 Alex

One of the perks of living in a 15-minute neighbourhood is never having to think twice about the weekly shop. In Wembley Park, groceries are close by rather than an afterthought, with supermarkets, specialty grocers and everything in between reachable on foot, from a quick pint of milk to a full trolley. It is a rare thing when renting in London to have this much genuine variety within walking distance of home. And there is fresh news to be excited about: Marks & Spencer is joining the neighbourhood, set to open in summer 2027. Here is a resident's guide to every place to shop for groceries in Wembley Park, right now and coming soon.

Supermarkets Within Walking Distance

For the everyday essentials, you will not need to go far. A cluster of supermarkets sits within a short stroll of home, each suited to a slightly different kind of shop, and a level of choice that is hard to find in many parts of London.

Sainsbury's Local, Olympic Way

Right on Olympic Way, this Sainsbury's Local is the natural choice for topping up on the way home, whether that is dinner ingredients or a last-minute treat. Its central position makes it one of the easiest stops in the neighbourhood.

Tesco Express, Quadrant Court and Wembley Park Boulevard

Wembley Park is home to two Tesco Express stores, giving residents a choice depending on which direction they are heading. One sits in Quadrant Court, beside the London Designer Outlet, ideal for combining a shop with an afternoon of browsing. The other is on Wembley Park Boulevard, handy for those closer to the Wembley Park side of the neighbourhood.

Co-op, Olympic Way

Also on Olympic Way, the Co-op rounds out the local options with a reliable spot for everyday shopping, all within easy reach of home.

Lidl, Stadium Retail Park

Just off Olympic Way, in the Stadium Retail Park, Lidl adds another budget-friendly option to the mix, and further proof of just how much choice is packed into this corner of London.

The Grocery Store, Right in Your Building

For genuine convenience, it is hard to beat groceries within the building itself. The Grocery Store has two branches in Wembley Park, one in the base of Ferrum, with its New York loft style and exposed ceilings,  and another in Canada Gardens, an urban country oasis overlooking leafy gardens, meaning residents in either building can pick up everyday essentials just moments from their front door. Not many rental homes in London can say the same. Explore all eight of our buildings to see which one suits your lifestyle best.

Every one of our eight buildings has its own personality. Elsewhere across the neighbourhood, you will find the Scandi-inspired calm of Landsby, the modernist luxe of our newest building, Solar, the celestial chic of Luna, and the bold, eclectic design of The Robinson, to name a few.  Whichever you choose, your rent includes the same premium amenities: landscaped gardens, gyms, social spaces and a 24-hour concierge, with no hidden fees. Explore all eight of our buildings and find the one that feels like home.

A Taste of Asia at Tian-Tian Market

Tian-Tian Market on Wellers Way specialises in Asian groceries, stocking over 10,000 food, drink and lifestyle products from more than 25 countries across East and South-East Asia, from noodles and sauces to hotpot ingredients and confectionery. It is part of a wider London chain, with stores from Canary Wharf to Kings Cross, though the Wembley Park branch is very much a local fixture. It is a welcome addition for residents looking to cook dishes from home or simply expand their repertoire, and reflects the genuine diversity of Wembley Park’s food scene.

Bigger Shops, a Short Bus Ride Away

When it is time for a bigger shop, three larger stores are just beyond walking distance, each an easy journey via the neighbourhood's excellent transport links.

A Tesco Extra on Great Central Way is well suited to a full trolley shop, while an Asda Superstore at Forty Lane offers the same, reachable by bus or on foot from Wembley Park station if you fancy the walk. For bulk buying, a Costco sits on Second Way, a straightforward bus ride from home for residents who like to stock up in one go.

Coming Soon: M&S Is Joining Wembley Park

M&S has confirmed plans for a new food hall in Wembley Park, with an opening planned for summer 2027. The store, at approximately 14,300 square feet, is expected to create more than 60 new jobs and will bring the full M&S experience to the neighbourhood, including market-style fresh produce, an in-store bakery, and dedicated Flower and Wine shops. Residents can also look forward to M&S' Remarksable Value range of everyday essentials alongside its Bigger Pack Better Value options, designed to make the weekly shop go further without compromising on quality.

It is a welcome sign of just how much the neighbourhood continues to grow, cementing Wembley Park's place as one of London's most exciting neighbourhoods to rent in, and we will share more on exactly what to expect as soon as details are confirmed. Watch this space.
