On Sat 4 November in the evening, over 54 residents came along to our special Wembley Park Fireworks residents’ social on the recently finished Alto’s roof terrace. It was a very chilly evening but everyone was wrapped up, and the mulled wine helped keep everyone warm. There were glow in the dark cups, necklaces and lawn games, because, well why not?! And the lanterns and fairy lights added a bit of sparkle to proceedings.
It was an amazing evening. Even before Wembley Park’s display began, you could really see all the different London firework displays happening across the city skyline one side, as well as out towards the Chilterns on the other side. It’s fair to say, it doesn’t matter what age you are or where you’re from – everyone loves fireworks!
After the display itself, a lot of people carried the evening on in Alto’s kitchen. A little birdie told us they heard Riverdance playing with several residents summoning their inner Michael Flatley and dancing away, Irish or otherwise!
As part of the evening, we ran a competition for two tickets to see the Kooks at The SSE Arena, Wembley – all they had to do was post on social media with #QuintainLivingSocial. The winner of this very special prize is……*drum-roll*…….. Ina Kahl. Congrats Ina, the Quintain Living team will be in touch.
If you’d like to keep the party going (and perhaps witness some more Riverdance), then make sure you apply for our next social Wine Tasting Evening on 16 Nov from 7pm courtesy of “The Vintner”. Interested? Just email email@example.com with your name, apartment number and the number of guests you’d like. Remember they must be a Quintain Living resident, sharing is caring after all.
Not only that, I’m sure you’ll all be excited to know that the BBQ will be installed on the roof terrace soon and just in time for spring – hurrah!
